BATTLING Bowers & Pitsea bucked the trend to secure a surprise victory at unbeaten Billericay Town.
Ricay’s Moses Emmanuel had the best chance of the first 20 minutes, firing wide after Ansu Janneh did well to win the ball back. The 35-year-old continued to cause the Bowers defenders problems as he was picked out with an inch-perfect cross from Cain Keller but he snatched at his chance and fired over.
