THERE was to be no FA Cup upset at Leek Town as the Northern Premier League side sccored one in each half to ease past their lower league opponents.
In a one-sided opening period, the home side created a number of half chances but were unable to apply a finishing touch. Leek’s all time top scorer Tim Grice completely misjudged a header when it looked easier to score, and Ty Webster saw a flashing effort come back off the post before Ollie Shenton put the rebound over an unguarded goal.
