■ GORLESTON withstood some early Walthamstow pressure with Callum Ibe shooting over and Brian Moses-Songolo denied by the Gorleston keeper Travis Canham from close range.
Jordan Buttle had Gorleston’s only on-target effort of the half which was pushed wide by Lewis Greene.
The deadlock was broken four minutes into the second half when Kieran Higgs hit a low cross into the six-yard box and Ryan Curtis arrived at the back post for a tap in to give Gorleston the lead.
