JOE Taylor and Lewis Gard turned supersubs as Ramsgate came from behind late on to beat Sheppey. Trailing 2-1 with the clock ticking down, Taylor’s found Gard, who slotted home to level. Then with penalties looming, Gard turned provider for Taylor to stroke the coolest of finishes.
The result was tough on Sheppey who led after 26 minutes, with Daniel Carr getting beyond the visitors rear-guard to fire past Rams’ keeper Tom Hadler. Josh Ajayi levelled with a pinpoint free-kick 20 minutes into the second half, but Jacob Lambert restored the hosts’ ...
