ASHFORD UNITED won this Kent derby to progress to the Third Qualifying Round for the first time with a comfortable win over Corinthian.
The game burst into life in the sixth minute when Ashford’s Marley St Louis was fouled by the visitors’ Hugo Taylor which prompted the referee to show the first yellow card of the game. The resultant free kick came to nothing.
