CANVEY ISLAND progressed through but will consider themselves fortunate to have overcome a Felixstowe side who played the far better football but were lacking their usual killer instinct in the final third. The Islanders struggled to create anything in the first half and often were caught in possession by a quicker, higher tempo Seasiders side that should have gone in ahead at the break.
