GAINSBOROUGH Trinity progressed to the third qualifying round thanks to a first-half Declan Howe double at the Kal Group Stadium.
A sublime move saw the Holy Blues in front on 16 minutes. Aaron Simpson swept the ball from right to left, picking out Lewis Butroid.
The left wing-back took a touch before finding Howe, who killed the ball dead, spinning his man and finding the bottom corner from the edge of the six-yard box.
