A FINE free-kick from Davide Rodari proved the difference for Hastings United against Harefield United.
The game at the Pilot Field started with the visitors very much on the front foot and was it not for some last-ditch defending Harefield would have been ahead.
The U’s finally got going and there were chances for Freddie Legg, Tommie Fagg and Rodari, the best of which fell to the latter, who shot just over from six yards.
To be fair to him the ball did cannon off the keeper at speed giving him no chance to control the shot.
