WORKSOP Town sealed their place in the FA Cup third qualifying round as they beat Basford United 6-3 in an action-packed game yesterday.
It didn’t go to plan for the home side as Tyrell Waite capitalised for the Ambers to give them a dream start away from home in the 13th minute. They weren’t ahead for too long as Worksop scored two quickfire goals, one from the spot from Vaughan Redford and Luke Hall finishing from close range to give the Tigers the lead.
