■ STALYBRIDGE Celtic made it back-to-back wins with victory over Bootle.
After going close on several times inside the opening 15 minutes, Matty Bryan made a Celtic chance count in the 21st minute smashing Ashley Leather’s low cross into the back of the net.
The hosts continued to dominate, but Mackenzie O’Neill did force Celtic keeper Charlie Monks into a good save before the break. Bootle were better after the break and were rewarded when Michael Burkey’s curling shot from outside the area flew into the goal.
