Tear drops only goal as Scunny hit skids

SCARBOROUGH handed Scunthorpe their first defeat of the season with a narrow win.
The only goal came after 18 minutes, when the Seadogs attacked down the right and Harry Green’s cross was turned in by Dom Tear, giving Ross Fitzsimons no chance.
After 35 minutes, Iron skipper Michael Clunan was narrowly wide with a free-kick.
In first-half stoppage time, Clunan spotted keeper Ryan Whitley out of position but his long-range attempt missed the target.
