THIS was a thoroughly satisfying end to a difficult week for Hebburn Town as they inflicted a first league defeat of the season on Lancaster City.
Hornets’ boss Daniel Moore had called on his players to move on after successive defeats, and Jack Donaghy’s late winner means that they can.
It was fitting the defender marked his 250th appearance in the club’s colours with a decisive goal, firing low past goalkeeper James McClenaghan with eight minutes left.
