STOCKSBRIDGE Park Steels advanced on penalties after a thrilling draw.
The visitors got off to a nightmare start when Wythenshawe opened the scoring before the break courtesy of Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro. The goalscorer then got a second to put his side into what many believed to be a commanding lead.
The drama was only just getting started, however, with Stocksbridge mounting a last-gasp comeback which started in the 89th minute via Jack Haslam. Elliot Owen stepped up to become the hero of the hour, equalising at the death.
