SHEPPEY United made it 10 consecutive League victories, five this season, five last, and they remain third in the league table.
They left it to the last half-dozen minutes to see off Steyning Town Community who are at the wrong end of the table, a point above the drop.
The Barrowmen came desperately close to lowering the Sheppey colours, but Aiden Prall made a number of good saves and other attempts were narrowly off target.
