CONCORD Rangers needed a single goal to down hosts Mildenhall and earn their third league win of the season.
Anisius Lewis forced a fine save after three minutes as Rangers started the stronger.
The same striker opened the scoring after 28 minutes, finding himself through on goal before calmly slotting the ball low past Josh Pipe.
Billy Knott was denied doubling the lead by a post two minutes later while substitute Adu Gyamfi thought he had scored only to find the glove of Pipe after 64 minutes.
