ROCHDALE say they may not have chosen to take part in the National League Cup if a fairer financial distribution model or three-up, three-down was in place.
Dale insist they are not in a position to turn down the “welcome income this competition offers”.
The club believe an acceptable financial proposal has been agreed and decided to take part in the inaugural tournament.
