STEVE Morison’s revamped, youthful Sutton United side took the Surrey derby honours to close in on the National League play-off spots.
Midfield pair Jeremy Sivi and Lewis Simper netted within four first-half minutes to put the U’s in control and they deservedly saw out victory despite Tom Leahy pulling one back for the Cards.
It ended a five-game winless run and took Morison’s men, with an average age of just 23.9, to within a point of the play-off spots.
