HENDON, ravaged by injuries, found a way to beat Cray Valley Paper Mills in the first ever league meeting between the clubs.
Both teams came close to an early goal, Ethan Light heading narrowly wide after five minutes while Luke Campbell made an acrobatic save when a Millers header was deflected by a defender and was looping just under the bar.
Campbell made another good save after 18 minutes, denying Adam Coombes.
