■ CITY of Liverpool fell to a dismal home defeat at the hands of Vauxhall Motors, who were good value for their victory at the DCBL Stadium.
Former Purp Jawad Jebrin coolly opened the scoring for Motors, slotting beyond Calvin Hare from just inside the box.
It could have been worse, when a Lomax-Jones on Jebrin saw Motors given a penalty, but Hare was the hero, denying Ben Holmes spot-kick with a sprawling save.
City of Liverpool equalised early in the second half when Sonko’s cut back was emphatically curled home by Elliot Morris.
