WHEN Noah Coppin claimed his first goal for Salisbury just short of the hour, it seemed certain the Whites would cruise to the finish.
Brian Dutton’s men led 4-0 and had delivered a near-perfect away performance. However, their relief upon hearing the final whistle, after conceding three times, was palpable.
That they did hold on means St Albans remain winless in the league this season. The hosts were playing catch-up after Hedges fired home from the edge of the box in the sixth minute.
