FC UNITED came away from the north-east with a well-deserved win, with Jordan Buckley scoring a brace.
The Reds opened the scoring inside 24 seconds when Guy Hall found Adam Le Fondre, who flicked onto Buckley and he audaciously lobbed Adam Richardson from 25 yards.
On 27 minutes the lead was doubled when a Charlie Ennis free-kick was headed down by Buckley towards Le Fondre, who bicycle-kicked into the goal.
