BASFORD United saw off Hanley Town on penalties to advance in the FA Trophy.
Tom Pope gave the visitors a dream start with a close-range header, but the Ambers responded with two goals in ten minutes. The first came from a neat Rev James finish from the edge of the box, before Tyrell Waite put the home side ahead as he tapped in Joe Uvegas’ cutback. Hanley struck back before the break as Pope tucked away a penalty to get his brace.
