WHITBY played in pink for the first-ever time as they supported a breast cancer cause, but neither defence were in charitable mood at the Towbar Express Stadium.
The hosts showed first when goalkeeper Shane Bland’s long ball found Stephen Walker, who chipped narrowly wide. Aaron Haswell then drove forwards and had a shot on goal.
From then on until half-time it was all Leek. Bland saved well from Hayden Campbell’s quickly-taken effort.
Oliver Shenton then headed into Bland’s hands.
