■ LEAGUE leaders Emley maintained their title challenge with a comfortable win and a clean sheet against below-par Carlton Town.
The impressive Amir Berchil opened the scoring after 13 minutes, firing past Felix Annan from the edge of the box.
Annan then saved a Luke Parkin penalty but after 41 minutes the keeper misjudged a Jack Cowgill header and could only look on in despair as the ball hit a post and rebounded off him and into the goal.
