■ RUSHDEN & DIAMONDS faced a challenging match-up against a commanding Khalsa side.
Diamonds started strongest, edging the first 25 minutes, but failed to test the Khalsa goalkeeper before the tide turned.
Simeon Cobourne opened the scoring with a clinical finish, the ball flying into the top corner.
Cobourne doubled the lead after 42 minutes, his volley leaving Ben Heath with no chance.
