WITHAM Town got back to winning ways in a strongly-contested match at the Simarco Stadium.
The hosts took an early lead when Josh Osude put them ahead after seven minutes.
There were chances at both ends. James Young prevented Osude from scoring again and Newmarket’s Ben Richardson missed a great chance to equalise
Both sides hit the bar and Witham’s Rowan Dorling headed just over the crossbar from a corner in the 45th minute.
