■ TWO goals from the very top drawer were enough for Grays Athletic to see off Ipswich Wanderers.
The first after ten minutes was a world-class strike by Alejandeo Machado from fully 35 yards out that evaded visitors’ goalkeeper Warren Burwood. The second in the dying moments came from Aron Gordon. He picked up a long clearance on the halfway line, skipped past several, rounded the keeper and tucked the ball into the empty net.
