DOVER secured their first win of the season in the NLFA South Division in a thrilling encounter.
Max Woodfine was the star of the show, netting a remarkable first-half hat-trick as he demonstrated clinical finishing.
Despite Dover’s dominance, Welling managed to stay in the game, capitalising on defensive lapses. They scored two quick goals to make it 3-2 at half-time.
The second half saw the home side continue to press for more goals but missed opportunities kept the game close and 3-2 was how it finished.
