THE Northern Premier League has confirmed it has suspended troubled Walsall Wood from playing – but efforts to keep the show on the road continue.
Yesterday’s NPL Midlands trip to Quorn was called off on Thursday – the third time in eight days that the plug had been pulled on a Wood fixture after Tuesday’s trip to Sutton Coldfield Town and last Saturday’s home clash with Bedworth United were put on hold.
