SOUTHALL emerged victorious over Ascot United, clinching the win with a goal in each half.
The home side dominated early, taking the lead in the ninth minute when Brendan Matthew converted a penalty after being pushed as he was about to head past the Ascot keeper.
Ascot responded in the second half, Harry Grant equalising in the 52nd minute to set up an intense, end-toend contest.
