BASFORD UNITED produced a magnificent performance to shock St Albans City.
Ashley Chambers had the first two chances for the Ambers but neither shot troubled Michael Johnson.
In the 20th minute, Dom Hutchinson and Josh Castiglione combined to set up Finley Wilkinson, but Harvey Woodward saved easily.
David Longe-King rescued the Saints with a brave block of McKeal Abdullah’s shot.
Chances continued at both ends with Tyler Dacres heading wide for the Ambers before Wilkinson curled an effort off target for St Albans.
