GOSPORT pulled off an upset as they narrowly beat National League South Tonbridge Angels.
The visitors had the first chance on five minutes, Jamie Fielding’s deft header comfortably saved by home goalkeeper Calum Ward.
A rare spark of attacking success saw Trevan Piedade-Robinson break but he was superbly denied twice by Finley Walsh-Smith.
Gosport worked themselves into good positions down the other end and saw a Dan Wooden curler blocked before the break.
