BEING on the wrong end of a dramatic late comeback is any manager’s worst nightmare.
But when you concede FOUR stoppage-time goals is what has been described as “the greatest comeback in football history” it’s enough to make you pull your hair out!
That is where Steve Cockrill found himself last Saturday after his Sunderland West End let slip a 5-2 lead into the second minute of time added on with Northern League Division Two leaders Yarm & Eaglescliffe rallying to an incredible 6-5 victory.
