He took the train from Chester, along the coast to Holyhead to Flint, just by the river Dee, in the lowlands, by the marshes, near the castle, by the estuary .
He could feel the breeze from the banks, where the sun set over water, and birds flew in the autumn air in such peace and sanctuary.
Saw the turquoise shirts of linesmen and referee, saw the netting bulge for Barry Town, peering from the stand, as much as he could see.
Flint chased with runners, and cries rose in the air, echoing beyond castle walls, to the town, by the waters, by the estua...
