A HAT-TRICK from D’Mani Mellor helped leaders Macclesfield to a six-goal show against bottom club Blyth Spartans.
The game was lucky to go ahead as the local community rallied to ensure the playing surface was clear of snow.
It was the best possible start for Macc when, within the first minute, John Rooney found the far corner following a short corner routine.
Mellor got his first of the day in the first half as his solo run was rounded off with a finish to match firing across the helpless Adam Richardson.
