MICHAEL Brothers returned to the dugout at Ipswich Wanderers this week – but not after one last run out in the National League.
First-team coach at Braintree Town under boss Angel Harrop, Brothers, 40, named in the Iron squad for Saturday’s visit of AFC Fylde and played a cameo role as a stoppage-time substitute in a 1-0 home win.
But hours later it was announced that Brothers had left Cressing Road to take charge of the Step 4 Wanderers following the departure of boss Glen Driver.
