■ HIGH-FLYING Emley continued their good start to the season, beating struggling Bridlington Town at the Mounting Systems Stadium.
The hosts had the first chance, as Alex Peterson laid the ball off to Michael Coulson, but he dragged his shot wide when well placed.
Against the run of play Emley took the lead after Nathan Curtis produced a beautiful glancing header into the bottom left corner.
The Seasiders looked to have won a penalty just before the half-hour mark, but the referee waved play on.
