FC UNITED won their final home game of the year after a second-half tactical change against their Greater Manchester rivals Stockport County.
The National League U19 Alliance Division H game was fairly even in the first 15 minutes with both sides not registering any shots on the opposing goalkeepers.
Midway through the first half, Stockport managed to get through the FC United press as they had the best chance of the half when they hit the bar.
FC United manager Tom Conroy made a switch to 3-5-2 at half-time in a bid to change the course of the contest.
