WHEN Pat Harding hung up his boots last year to become Hassocks chairman, you could say the role was in the blood.
Harding’s Dad Matthew, the late vice-chairman of Chelsea in the 1990s, was a local man much loved and admired by Blues fans and now has a stand named after him at Stamford Bridge.
