TODAY’S update covers the period from Sunday March 24 through to Saturday March 30 2013.
As we are only one day short of the end of March here’s a quick look at the March Manager of the Month. Pingu FC is leading the way with 1,694pts and they are 27pts ahead of second-placed Pistols Heros, while third-placed Team Wiv No Name are 38pts behind our leader.
The top five in the table are covered by 42pts, the top ten by 73pts and the top twenty only covered by 101pts. As with most months it will depend on who has the most League Leaders at the end of March and of course for each of those you gain 25 extra bonus points.
I was asked via the FNL Helpdesk if the winner of the FA Trophy Final that was played last Sunday gets their 150 bonus points at the stage in the sea-son when the game was actually played. The answer is no. All end of season bonuses are awarded at the very end of the competition in May.
However, Wrexham were awarded a 25pt bonus this week for winning the FA Trophy Final. That bonus will apply to all the cup competitions that are part of FNL 2012/13.
Finally, the four teams that make it into the playoffs from each league will be awarded 25pts and then a further 25pts for winning the semi-final and finals.
