EASTLEIGH celebrated a first home win since September 21 as they edged past a brave Maidenhead United in a nervy affair at the Silverlake.
In a game of little quality, it was centre-half Ludwig Francillette who won it just after the quarter-hour, much to the relief of Spitfires boss Kelvin Davis.
“Last weekend at Fylde was a tough pill to swallow so I’m really pleased with the character of the group,” he said.
“To a man, they’ve been really positive this week and not let anything negative get into our psyche.
