A STEP 5 match abandoned over a one-man tirade of “abusive language” is now the subject of a police investigation.
The Combined Counties League Premier North clash between Milton United and Hilltop on Saturday was called to a halt at half-time after a member of the crowd allegedly bellowed abuse and threats before then refusing to leave.
It came after a delayed kick-off with Milton’s social media feed stating their visitors had arrived without any socks.
United currently share 10 miles from home at Wallingford & Crowmarsh while work is done...
