■ LARKHALL edged a scrappy game on the back of a controversial goal.
With 69 minutes gone, Bashley claimed they had cleared a shot from Eben Mortimer-Taylor off the line – and were momentarily relieved by a linesman’s flag.
In fact it was to say the ball was over the line, and despite some frantic huffing and puffing by the hosts, Larkhall held out.
Both were without a win in their previous four, so this was never going to be a classic on a skiddy pitch.
