GUISELEY roared into 2025 with successive wins as Ollie Brown and Will Longbottom scored in each half to kick off 2025 in style with a 2-0 win in Cumbria.
The Lions took the lead inside 11 minutes, Brown finding the net with a towering header before Longbottom sealed their win over Workington four minutes from time with a close-range finish.
The visitors made a promising start to the game, seeing Longbottom’s inch-perfect corner headed off the line by Workington defender Jordan Little.
