TOP talent John Shamalo has been snapped up by League Two Barrow – and then immediately sent out on loan 370 miles away to Eastbourne Borough.
The 21-year-old has bagged 15 goals and eight assists for Barton Rovers in Southern League Division One Central this season.
It was enough to alert Bluebirds boss Stephen Clemence, who stepped up to sign the 6ft 4in front man on an 18-month deal.
