A CRITICAL relegation battle saw Tiverton secure all three points from an early deflected free kick which leaves Poole deeper in trouble.
A foul by Josh Staunton allowed Niall Thompson a free kick outside of the box. His shot took a large deflection to leave Ben Taylor stranded as the ball nestled in the corner of the net.
Poole’s best chance of the half fell to Ezio Touray when put through by a lovely pass from Tom Hewlett but he fired his shot straight at the keeper. Good play down the wing saw Christos Batzelis find Hewlett ...
