■ AARON BOTT came off the bench to be the hero for Kidsgrove Athletic as he pulled the Grove out of the bottom four.
The goal came after 69 minutes when Nat Morley’s corner was only cleared to the edge of the area. Robbie Hatton headed it back into the danger zone where it found Bott and he glanced it home.
It was the hosts who had the better chances throughout the game with Adam Whitehouse making decent saves from Tom Pope and Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi.
