MATLOCK TOWN secured their first win in 11 attempts to claim a crucial three points against already-relegated Blyth Spartans.
It gave new boss Adam Clayton a welcome win after he was appointed until the end of the season following the departure of Ryan Cresswell at the start of the week.
Liam Ravenhill had Matlock’s first effort of note 10 minutes in but his shot from the edge of the area was just wide.
