NUNEATON TOWN have made goalkeeper Ben McNamara their ninth signing of the summer.
The Australian stopper, who has previously represented Newcastle Jets and Bonnyrigg in his home country, was handed a deal by Boro boss Kevin Wilkin after impressive performances in pre-season.
McNamara is hoping to secure the number one jersey at the Triton Showers Community Arena and told the club’s website: “I have made enormous sacrifice to come to this point in my career and I am excited about joining Nuneaton Town FC.
“To be exposed to a higher volume of matches at a competitive level was my sole objective upon making the decision to relocate from Australia to the UK therefore I am grateful for the opportunity to play with Nuneaton Town FC.
“This club has a proud history and is certainly moving in the right direction. I look forward to being a key part of the club as I continue to work towards achieving my long term goals and objectives within the game.”
