DARTFORD have signed three new players ahead of the new Skrill Premier season.
The first man to sign on at Princes Park was 20-year-old Alex Woodyard.
The midfielder has spent the past four years at League One club Southend United and has previously spent loan spells with Farnborough and Braintree Town.
Joining him in the Darts squad are Mat Mitchel-King and Tom Wellham.
Defender Mitchel-King was a Histon stalwart between 2005 and 2009, making over 150 appearances for the Stutes.
The 29-year-old has since had spells with Football League sides Crewe Alexandra and AFC Wimbledon.
Speaking about Mitchel-King’s arrival, Darts boss Tony Burman said: “I’m delighted to have signed Mat after discussions with him for the last month.
“As a player who has played League football, he will add invaluable experience to the squad.”
Teenage goalkeeper Wellham signs for the Darts after spending pre-season working alongside their other stoppers, Alan Julian and Deren Ibrahim.
